interesting. gossip. but still, they are just mini ways of entertaining and inspiring oneself.

i should be studying chinese. i tried, i really did. but i went off schedule when i pressed the snooze button on my phone alarm to start getting back to chinese half an hour ago. i promise myself, i'll get at least 8 hours of sleep tonight. means i've got 2 hours of awakefulness left.

i had a dream. during my very short 15 minute power nap this afternoon. Boats. characters involved are a modern pirate team, a 'merchant' ship/giant inflated float, and my team, a volunteer rescue team. we were all out at sea. a very clear and shallow one. pirates chasing the victims, we trying to catch up to the victims before the pirates do. they go under the bridge of this BIG HUGE ASS SHIP to avoid the pirates- who were creating seawaves??? to apparently capsize the victims/giant inflated float. pirates caught up, capsized the float and its occupants. we-the rescue team caught up to the whole entourage 5 seconds later, to flip the boat back upright, using only human force, and that was done REALLY easily (considering it was a giant float....) and then the pirates took the float for themselves. the previous occupants who were the 'victims' and just standing around the waist-deep water. we all are. the rescue team huddles up all the victims.....and my phone alarm rang. 15 min nap's over.

what a weird dream.
