i feel guilty. of last night's dinner. although it was a consensus among the four of us to eat out, and well, we did stumble upon the long list of promotions, a $40++ buffet dinner at Holiday Inn Park View made me open my eyes a little bigger into the adult world. no more student prices and promotions, good food( or not that good food) comes at a price. breaking into the food industry is not gonna be easy, and is attacking on my wall of will to become a pastry chef and open up a F&B business.

also...i really shouldn't be spending on unneccesary stuff, which i really haven't seemed to curb the habit of :/ although i wish i could catch The Winter's Tale at esplanade, which seems to have solid reviews and a nice production overall. dang theatre high prices.
imported inflation?

i officially haven't slept for twenty four hours, or 43 hours hours awake with only an hour of sleep. i should be brain dead or unable to function due to lack of sleep, but surprisingly i'm pretty awake right now at 1am in the morning. and well, i've got to be up in another 4 hours' time due to the early bus from school sending us for the long-awaited Geography field trip. can't say i'm overwhelmingly excited about it, but i guess we won't know what's gonna happen till we go for it.

The njcians on the annual Maldives CIP trip left on thursday, and i again, feel....neutral. i mean there's some attachment, but there's no desire or overwhelming feeling of loss of not being there. i guess i'm just not the kind of person who gets attached emotionally so easily.

well, i hope i don't miss anything out for the geog trip and the directly after hockey camp..

WARNING
my blog now has music (:
Nanka Shiawase by the Oystars.

I first heard it on Flame of Recca anime eons ago, and was recently united with this catchy song again. apparently it's about happiness ....so enjoy! oh and if you think having music on my blog makes it slow and impractical, just tag and say so, a majority of five or more taggers (which is about all my readers! ha!) then i'll consider, otherwise, get hooked!

What Happiness
Wake up, get up, check the schedule
Sometimes brings a smile and good feeling
Love or dreams or logic never have the answers
So let's just walk as if flipping a coin

A kind of happiness, a brief happiness
When it is felt, that's the start of happiness

Kind of moving, Born for moving
The first step makes everything move again
The news shouts out that the world is dangerous
Sometimes nothing can be done but shed tears

Unexpected rain burns the heart into depression
I let one of your lies be leaked out

A kind of sigh, revival sigh
Merely the punchline in which existance rolls
It might be kind of useless, Maybe completely useless
A life with unseen effects is not progressing...

Surely, depending upon myself,
wonderful things will be assured
I'll see them in the wind that will come tomorrow

A kind of happiness, a brief happiness
When it is felt, that's the start of happiness
Kind of moving, Born for moving

great  news, exciting stuff and yummy things are coming up in this post. i'll leave the bad stressful stuff for another time.

first up:
which means, I PASSED! to some, it may just seem like a not-so-good grade, especially for a student's A level subject, coming from NJC. but to me, it's a feat. a feat i achieved, which i felt pretty relieved to see it. It may be due to my pessimism of my own mother tongue, or just my inability to believe in my own capabilities that i could have worked harder and gotten a better grade. but i guess having such lines of thoughts lowers expectations, and gives the mind at least a little room to breath. It may actully bring a little happiness too, since I did better than what I expected, saves on tears i suppose. Now, less one subject to worry about, more time on my hands ( 4 hours a week to be precise, since 2.5 hours of chinese lessons plus the 1.5 hour wait i have on tuesday before chinese lesson starts) . And people: you can stop teasing me about my incapability to speak my own mother tongue now.

Secondly, I seem to have a lot of musically talented friends surrounding me, probably to make up for my non-existant musical sense. And thing is, I'm not a groupiue or fan of any famous artist out there in the world, for I just like music in general. But when the artists are my friends, the local scene, probably due to the bond of friendship, I become their fans almost overnight. Like Sheena, the future star singer who is multi-talented and has a great voice, tuned to perfection. and then there's David, who plays the bass for his band, who just performed for NTU's Surf and Sweat at Sentosa awhile back. Loved their music the first time i heard it at esplanade, which included jap songs, and thus here's the video to promote their band, especially when the lead has a great voice too! anybody who wants to watch them live : 21st March, Saturday at the Central (: enjoy!

Lastly: MUFFINS.
vanilla, dark chocolate, blueberries, orange frosting. that's all i have to say XD
